Join us for a delightful, hands-on experience at our micro flower farm! Spend 90 minutes exploring our vibrant gardens and stunning flower field, where you’ll have the chance to handpick a variety of fresh, seasonal blooms. Whether you’re looking to create a custom bouquet or simply enjoy the beauty of nature, this experience lets you design your own unique floral arrangements directly from the source and learn about the farm as you go.
Self Guided Tours (General Admission)
Step inside a flower farm like no other! Most farms have strict biosecurity measures that limit public access, but our Self-Guided Tour gives you the rare opportunity to explore freely. Wander through purposefully designed gardens and vibrant flower fields, where education meets beauty—think a small boutique botanic garden combined with the charm of a working flower farm making this the perfect 90-minute escape into nature.
Using your mobile phone, scan QR codes along the trails to uncover fascinating stories about the farm’s history, heritage, and seasonal blooms. Take your time exploring, admire the colourful displays, and capture photos of your surroundings. Bring a picnic and soak in the serene atmosphere with friends and family, making it a perfect day out for all ages.

Flower Hour – Summer Edition
Designed for early risers and fast movers, Flower Hour is our summer-friendly, express pick-your-own experience—held at the very best time of day to pick flowers.
Running from 8am to 9am (60 minutes), this experience takes advantage of the cooler morning temperatures, softer light, and freshly opened blooms before the heat of the day sets in. You’ll receive the same generous flower allocation as our standard Pick-Your-Own experience, just within a shorter one-hour time frame and at a lower cost.
It’s perfect for those who love to move with purpose, beat the heat, and enjoy the flower fields while they’re calm, fresh, and at their most beautiful.
Floral Design Workshop
Slow down and immerse yourself in the art of floral design with our Floral Design Workshop, a creative, hands-on experience held at Hahndorf Flower Farm.
This workshop runs for up to two hours and is guided by our experienced farm florist, who will lead you through the process of creating a foam-free floral arrangement using fresh, seasonal flowers grown right here on the farm. You’ll learn the principles of sustainable floral design, flower conditioning, colour and texture balance, and how to build a natural arrangement—without the use of floral foam.
Each guest will design a potted arrangement and take home their finished piece styled in a vase, along with new skills and inspiration to use again and again.
During your time, you’re welcome to roam the farm, soak up the surroundings, and take photos of your floral creation, capturing the experience and your finished design amongst the flowers that grew it.

In this fun 1.5-hour adventure, kids can wander through our colourful gardens and fields, choosing their very own bunch of fresh, seasonal blooms. Little flower lovers will enjoy seeing how flowers grow, spotting all the different shapes and colours, and creating their own special bouquet to take home.
Perfect for curious minds and creative hands, this experience is all about fun, nature, and imagination!

As children must be accompanied by a paying adult, please ensure you book an adult ticket first, then select The Little Flower Hunt (per child) as an extra when making your booking.
